Thank You for LaGrange Elementary School

At Christmastime, students from LaGrange Elementary took a wreath to my grandparents house.  When they brought the wreath, they also sang some Christmas carols.  Both Grandma and Grandpa were so pleased.

Grandma wanted to make a nice thank you for the students and she tried explaining it to mom, but mom misunderstood.  So when I finally felt mostly up to it, I talked with grandma to see what she wanted to do.  She had the idea to use the letters in 'thanks' and have little phrases expressing their gratitude for the students' gestures.  She told me on the phone and I carted stuff to her house when we went to visit.

The picture below is what I made and delivered to the school for grandma.  I used my Cricut to cut out the letters for 'thanks' and also used the Cricut to draw, rather than cut, the phrases.  I used Hero Arts flowers (paper flowers with no color) and sprayed them with different colors of glimmer mist.  Centers are a variety of brads.  Grandma had ribbon that I used to tie the tag on (and when I say grandma had ribbon--OH MY HECK--she has a whole underbed box FULL of ribbon--and I know she has more elsewhere, HOLY COW!!!).

I am not sure what paper line it is, because I got it out of my stash.  But I thought it turned out really cute!

If you could not read it, here is what is says:

T--thoughtful moments
H--happy memories
A--awesome singing
N--nice, nice, nice
K--kindness exemplified
S--special students
